Best Christmas Decisions 2010

As you all know, this was mine and Rob's first Christmas together as husband and wife. This year we were able to celebrate Christmas with just the two of us, since we had my family's Christmas get together the weekend before. For our special Christmas celebration, Rob and I got an adorable N'awlins style suite in a hotel called Dauphine Orleans. We had a great time in New Orleans. Here are a few of my favorite decisions that we made this Christmas season:

1) Going to New Orleans for the weekend and staying at Dauphine Orleans. It was adorable.

2) Making Cafe du Monde our first stop in Nola

3) Walking along the boardwalk at sunset, even though we did leave $20 poorer than when we got on the boardwalk (not exactly by choice).

4) Eating at NOLA (Emeril Lagasse's restaurant) for dinner night 1

5) Buying my first knit headband. It looks like this but in Maroon

6) My lovey dovey, favorite hubby also bought me these fabulous earrings. Man, is he good or what?!

7) Going to the N.O. Aquarium

8) Marrying a guy with impeccable taste (and a great memory). Merry Christmas to me!!

(real pearls; the jacket of diamonds is removable and can be worn with all 3 earring pairs)

9) This was actually pre-Nola, but it was part of my Christmas present from Rob; and probably one of the best presents from him this year.

10) The final best Christmas Decision of 2010 (and it really happened post-Christmas, in 2011)
MY NEW BOOTS (on sale at Belk)!! I still have $58 for another pair of shoes. I'm finally going to purchase something I've been wanting for a very long time: A pair of TOMS!! And I'm thinking the Burlap Classics:
I know that my 1st married Christmas was incredible and I hope your's was too; whether you're single, been married for 10 years, or were enjoying your first married Christmas as well.
Always remember that Jesus is not only the reason for the Christmas season. He is the reason for EVERY season!
I hope that you were blessed this Christmas and that your New Year has taken off with a bang.
